After “project completed,” readers ask under which conditions, what customers already provided, which portion the company handled and what their own environments still need assessed. Results without prerequisites can make original conditions appear directly reproducible by everyone.

Case study result prerequisites should accompany results. Use approved documents to explain inputs, scope, checks and uncovered questions. This concerns case narratives; without real project evidence, use explicit hypotheses to explain methods without inventing customer stories or effectiveness figures.

## Find key conditions in approved records

Before selecting results, check evidence. Task records show objectives, execution records show actions and review records show findings. Objectives cannot prove outcomes, nor project photos establish later business performance.

Key conditions are inputs affecting result interpretation, not the customer’s full background: available materials, retained systems or site conditions and covered objects. Knowledgeable participants identify them and decide publishable portions. Editors must not add “the customer prepared thoroughly” from general experience.

Insufficient publication scope should narrow results or turn content into a methods guide, not preserve broad results by deleting conditions. Permission to show interfaces does not authorize discussion of customer business problems, investment or internal evaluations. This concerns condition correspondence rather than anonymization methods.

Resolve document differences specifically. Proposed and implemented scopes may differ; early screenshots may not show final states. Use finally confirmed facts instead of assembling the strongest fragments into an outcome that never occurred. See [How to Design a B2B Solution Page: A Complete Structure from Customer Problems to Sales Leads](https://www.jvds.cn/en/share/website-design/b2b-solution-page-design) for related checks.

Match each proposed result to object, timeframe, evidence and necessary conditions. The record guides editing without requiring public tables. Integrate useful context near results instead of revealing broad promises before distant limitations.

## Separate customer-provided conditions from provider work

Customers may already have materials, systems, supporting equipment or responsible staff, with providers completing one stage from that starting point. Describe contributions accurately instead of claiming every final element was provided from scratch. External objects in project images do not automatically enter the company’s delivery list.

Retain third-party relationships too. Approved scope can explain customer platforms, implemented work and external services. One supplier serving as the customer contact does not independently own an entire ecosystem’s capabilities.

Suppose customers provide organized product materials, providers arrange approved content on a website and both check agreed pages. A case can describe content organization and checks, but not claim the provider verified every technical product fact. Document sources and website implementation are distinct responsibilities.

This hypothesis describes narrative methods, not an actual customer. It identifies existing prerequisites and preparation needed for others without them. Cases may suggest assessment directions without estimating new-project fees or fixed schedules.

Accurate roles should not minimize actual work either. Explain provided tasks, confirmed inputs and checked results so readers understand value. Neither “independently completed everything” nor vague collective actions are needed.

## Keep result statements within actual review scope

Delivery completion, successful checks and business outcomes are different levels. Launches may have records, functions may have acknowledgments, but traffic, inquiries and experience changes need corresponding evidence. Use supported levels instead of substituting design intent for later measurement.

An existing fact illustrates this: a backend batch-publication task on JVDS Design Studio’s own website confirmed Chinese and corresponding English execution results, then refreshed to check remaining drafts. It supports operation and status-check completion. Without measurements, it cannot establish saved hours, improved rankings or increased inquiries.

This was the studio’s website work, not an external commissioned case. Execution details identify processed records; refreshed status shows whether drafts remained at that time. Neither establishes identical capabilities in other companies’ systems or later operating returns.

For quantitative results, check statistical objects, observation scope and definitions. A headline total without meaning-changing conditions is insufficient. This article supplies no customer data; actual records and publication scope determine usable results.

A one-time check remains one-time, not a permanent guarantee. Partial-object results must not become entire platforms or workflows. Accurate scope helps customers compare starting points for reuse.

## Keep unknown factors out of causal explanations

Cases may record outcomes without explaining every cause. State methods and observed changes without unproven causation. “This design increased business performance” needs evidence beyond narrative sequence.

Customers may simultaneously change staff, documents or processes. Separate known relevant factors from unknowns. Unknowns need not dominate the case, but silently excluding them may imply one provider action produced every change independently.

For new customers, compare tasks, existing conditions, inputs needed and pending differences. Shared industry is a clue, not identical input. Do not claim every similar customer achieves the result or turn one project into a general promise. See [How to Design Corporate Website Case Studies That Sell](https://www.jvds.cn/en/share/website-design/website-case-study-page-design) for related checks.

Retain unanswered questions too. One execution without long-term records does not describe sustained operation. Interested customers can seek further evidence instead of guessing from polished final images.

If key assumptions cannot be public, owners should determine whether remaining content accurately explains results. Narrow or omit statements where deletion misleads. Publication convenience does not expand conclusions or applicability.

## Review final narratives against a fact list

Read background, work, results and transferable lessons, matching every fact to sources. Check customer/provider roles, retained conditions, hypothesis labels and whether unmeasured effects became achievements, identifying specific sentences.

Then check standalone titles, summaries and captions. An accurate body still conflicts with “any company can reproduce it.” Prominent results need enough context without making readers finish everything to correct initial impressions.

Have fact-confirming participants review final text, particularly compressed sentences. Removing prerequisites from “completed with customer-provided conditions” changes scope. Polishing does not authorize adding or removing facts; review actual changes explicitly.

Ask an unfamiliar reader to explain existing resources, company responsibilities, checked results and prerequisites for reuse. Accurate restatement shows case study result prerequisites reached readers and can help future customers ask specific questions.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### Will identifying customer conditions make provider work seem small?

Accurate roles clarify value. Explain tasks, inputs and checked results without expanded scope or counting existing customer resources as delivery.

### Can results be described without effectiveness figures?

Describe recorded delivery and review facts with objects and scope. Do not present targets, expectations or unrecorded evaluations as returns. Stop where evidence stops without business measurements.

### Can new customers in the same industry reuse conclusions directly?

Industry alone is insufficient. Compare tasks, conditions and pending differences. Cases guide discussion; new inputs require assessment without guarantees.

### What if customer conditions cannot be public?

Owners approve accurate summaries. If missing conditions alter meaning, narrow statements or use a methods article rather than hide prerequisites while retaining broad achievements.

### Can original objectives appear in result headlines?

Objectives remain objectives. Only outcomes established by evidence can become scoped results. Task documents, execution records and observations are not interchangeable.
