Scope and controller

This policy applies when you visit jvds.cn, view our work or insights, use website features, or submit a project enquiry. The controller is JVDS Studio (“we”, “us”).

It does not cover third-party websites or services reached through external links. Those parties process information under their own policies.

Information we collect

• Project enquiries: company name, phone number, project brief and attachments you choose to submit.
• Essential technical data: IP address, access time, request records and error logs generated to keep the site secure and operational.
• Statistics data: only after consent, a third-party statistics service may collect aggregated page, session, device/browser, approximate location and on-site interaction data.

Please do not include identity documents, bank details, health data or other sensitive information unrelated to your project.

How we use information

We process information to respond to enquiries, assess projects, provide and improve services, protect the site, troubleshoot issues and—after consent—understand overall website usage. We do not use it for unrelated automated decision-making or sell personal information.

Cookies and statistics

The site uses local storage to remember language and statistics preferences. These are necessary to keep your selected settings. We load a third-party statistics service only after you choose “Allow Statistics”; it may then set first-party cookies to distinguish sessions and produce aggregated reports.

Sharing and service providers

We may use hosting, email, file storage and third-party statistics providers to operate the site and respond to your request. They receive only what is needed to provide those services and are expected to apply suitable security and confidentiality measures. We do not otherwise disclose personal information without permission unless required by law.

Retention and security

Enquiry records are retained for project communication, delivery, dispute handling and legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised. Server logs are kept for a reasonable security-troubleshooting period. Statistics cookie duration follows the configuration of the statistics service and is reviewed for necessity.

We use reasonable measures including access controls, transport protection, backups and log review, but no internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.

Your rights and choices

You may contact us to request access, a copy, correction, completion or deletion of relevant personal information, and may withdraw analytics consent. To protect information, we may need to verify your relationship to the data and will handle reasonable requests within applicable legal timeframes.

Children

Our services are primarily for business clients and are not directed at children under 14. Minors should use the site only with a guardian’s consent and guidance. If we learn that a child’s information was collected without appropriate consent, we will address it promptly.
