Mobile website acceptance needs more than a few screen widths: test an open keyboard, long text, error messages and page transitions. A layout can look normal in a static screenshot while interactions still obscure or lose information. This is especially relevant to business website pages with forms, long names and downloads.

Include Page States in the Checks

Choose important pages, then list states users may encounter. Contact pages include empty, in progress, validation failure and submission results; product pages include long titles, multiple images and file links; menus include closed, expanded and current page selection. Different image ratios also change page height and entry positions. Check whether replacement originals create excessive whitespace, crop the subject or overlap text. If editors must process images beforehand, explain this in maintenance instructions rather than telling operators only after launch.

Judge Acceptance by Interaction Outcomes

After opening the menu, check that users can reach the target page, close it normally and avoid obscured content. After entering invalid information, check that messages match the relevant fields and previous input is retained. After submission, check that the result is clear and, when necessary, continue checking delivery.

Test download links for correctness and whether files open on mobile. If a format cannot be previewed directly, provide clear file information rather than leaving customers in an unfamiliar blank state. Contact buttons also need checks of the destination number or email, not just icon styling.
